How Dermal Fillers Work

As you age, your skin cells lose their ability to produce more collagen and elastin, which causes the skin to become dryer, thinner and less able to repair itself.

When we are young, we have enough naturally occurring hyaluronic acid in our body to keep our skin taut and healthy, but as we get older this storage of HA diminishes, leaving the skin less supported, causing lines and wrinkles.

Dermal Fillers are injected into these most problematic areas in order to lift and fill these folds and wrinkles.

The discomfort is minimal as the treatment does not take long to perform and results are seen immediately afterwards. Treating wrinkles with dermal filler is fast and leaves no scars.
